How do you get over the fear of driving on the freeway? after a Nervous breakdown?

The last nervous breakdown/servere anxiety attack happen on the freeway and got in to a bad wreck now been afriad to drive on freeway! How to get over this fear that feels like a handicap
Drive every day short distances that give you no feeling of any kind. Try to go further every day but stay in a comfortable range. When you think you are ready go on the freeway, stay in the far right lane and if you start to panic pull off to the right.
