How do you replace a Ponatitac Grand Prix drivers side review mirror?

The mirror isn't broken but the whole thing broke off. I need to know how to put it back on .

the only thing intact is the cord that controls the window.
that still works
You'll have to remove the trim panel on the interior of the door in the corner where the mirror is---not sure if it's screwed in place or is retained in place by clips---should be able to pry it off if it is retained in place. Then unbolt the three bolts
